Exterior:  Starting life as an original rust free 1976 280Z Coupe.  The car was structurally reinforced with 5 x steel plates from the firewall to the rear door jamb along with diagonal reinforcements where the door sill meets the rear door jamb.  The roof and hatch were removed, and the hatch was shortened and welded to from the metal trunk lid with original factory sheet metal.  The windshield frame was then reinforced for strength.  The Front drip edge was shaved, and custom formed sheet metal was formed for the rear quarter panels.  Once the metal work was completed, the body was completely disassembled and stripped to bare metal.  Once the metal was prepped, it was primed with PPG high build epoxy primer then coated with 4 coats of concept DCC Acrylic Urethane in Yellow Gold #3889.  Pant was color sanded and blocked buffed and polished for the brilliant shine you see now.  NOS front and rear bumpers were then fitted with custom front brackets.

Interior:  Starion bucket seats in custom black upholstery and new ACC carpets.  NOS door panels, window handles, mirror knobs, etc.  Custom interior vinyl panel and trunk divider were installed along with a custom Kenwood stereo.

Engine:  This beautiful inline 2.8L S30 six cylinder received a compete rebuild.  The block and pan were painted with POR high gloss enamel, fuel injection was replaced with SU Carburetors, rebuilt, powder coated and polished.  All linkages and components were plated in yellow zinc and the aluminum cast intakes were polished along with K & N filters to top it off.  Custom Accel plug wires and brackets were then installed to complete the look.    A new Mallory Distributor with Pertronix II Ignition was installed along with a NOS fan and fan shroud.  Polished and rebuilt brake master cylinder with custom brake lines.  All relays, brackets and clips were relocated, and the existing holes were filled and sanded smooth along with all overlapping seams on the inner fenders, firewall and rails.  Al engine wiring was hidden to give it that supper clean look.

Chassis:  The entire chassis was stripped free of all components, media blasted and refinished.  New urethane and rubber bushings were installed all around.  New Tokico Blue Shocks along with new Suspension Techniques Springs.  Stainless steel brake lines were with KVR crossed drilled and anodized rotors and KVR pads.  New rear bake cylinder and pads.  Custom Dayton Wire Wheel in stainless and chrome in 8 x 16.  New Hankook Ventus K104 z rated tires in a 205/55ZR/16 were fitted on the Dayton Wheels.

Summary:  Every single part was removed and refinished on this beautiful car creating a totally unique and one of a kind roadster.  There wasnt a stone left unturned and the meticulous attention to detail that went into this build is makes it a very unique and rare find.
